Ag Meters
On the central coast we have found that many farmers call us about their electricity bills being too high. We have found to be the most cost effective is to add a second meter onto the property. This allows to property owner to split the cost between the home rates and the ag rates.

Two reasons your electric bill will go down. One is that you will receive a discounted AG rate on one meter and second is you will be less likely to go over the baseline rates. Barn Wiring

Working on the central coast we have come across many barns which have existing wiring, but can be very hazardous to the owner. We have rewired many barns and brought them up to the 2005 NEC code.
